The WebView loads your organisation’s portal URL—so branding and features stay centralised.
Because the shell loads the live crew portal, you deploy portal fixes and new fields immediately. Rebuild the native app only when the bridge contract or native modules change. After first load, the WebView can use HTTP cache; first install still needs network to fetch the web app.
App Store privacy labels should match these uses.
Push is optional but recommended.
Same as portal: queue work order progress, steps, photos, signatures, and service requests. Background sync when online returns; status visible in settings/home. The native shell adds connectivity awareness and coordinates sync with the bridge. Details on Offline & sync.
